As seen and inspired by a Clinton, TN gas station marquis:
Beat the economic crisis:
*Get a job.
*Go to work.
*Use your fuel bucks to save money on your commute.
Classic advice!
We’re created to give back something to our world. A teacher once said, “Your lifework and job are merely the rent you pay for the space and energy you use on earth.”
Our intricately designed body, soul, and spirit is required to move. Some people consider motion-with-a mission as part of their ministry, job, purpose, vocational role.
You may, or may not have discovered your talent or passion yet. You have value! You are created on purpose, for a purpose. There’s some hobby, group of people, or mission out there to ignite a spark in you.
I’m grateful for the people and lessons that have impacted me, simply by showing up for life. What would someone think if I wasted their time, money, wisdom, influence, or sweat equity?
Rather than elaborate or pontificate, I leave us with an invitation to persist in our individual and collective missions. Maybe these questions will help you explore new activities to which you can contribute. Go you! Go us! Let’s make our economy healthier.
To ponder:
* What weaknesses do you see in the one-mile radius of your home? (i.e. What makes you fuss? What positives do you see?)
*What daily contributions do you make in your circles of contact? How can you add value to your friends, coworkers, and community?
*Who will you connect with in the next 12 hours that you can help create positive motion or a solution?
