Six months ago, I declared a New Lease on Life.  I’ve spent November 5-May 5 observing everything without making permanent decisions, other than choosing to grocery shop and practice kindness.

I’ve chosen to elaborate on less critical pursuits and eliminate baggage. Rather than writing a six-month confessional, I’ll eliminate tenacious details and elaborate on discoveries.

I leave for a discernment period in June. Most details are unknown, but I know my starting point is in the Midwest. I believe the Midwest represents my life’s current intersection. Somewhere in between.

Despite countless uncertainties, I have consistent support from faithful-to-the-end friends and family. During this discernment phase, I’ll continue writing, life coaching and tutoring new authors. I’ve remained silent for much of this six-month observation, but these themes remain. Explore and detach. Observe everything. Decide nothing permanent yet.

I’m full of anticipation and partially tentative but assured I’m taking divinely guided action. I’m being called to another level of FROG-ging. I’ll exercise tender surrender muscles, to trust God for all provision.

My FROG brand stands for fullyrelying on God. Not frequently, not finally. Fully relying on God. Rather than being a renter on God’s lease for my life, I strive to become His permanent resident.

While I’m geographically inconvenient, with thanks to my editor, layout designer, illustrator, and literary midwife, we’ll publish three books this year. Knee Deep, Tadpoles and Poetry Pod will complete a five-book series in the FROG Blog.

Moving forward with abundant leaps and bounds,

Christina

The trial exposed their true colors: They were incredibly happy, though desperately poor. The pressure triggered something totally unexpected: an outpouring of pure and generous gifts (2 Cor. 8: 2-4 MSG).

    1. Thank you for your encouraging words that serve as calm balm. As departure time draws close, I’m finding more questions than answers. However, I know I’m being called to trust in a mission that doesn’t make sense in the natural. Christina
