Authentic.
Authentic.
I chuckle because I find it ironic that a majority consulted their electronic device to search for personal authenticity.
What led so many of us to learn more about authenticity? What are we looking for when we search “authentic?”
Whatever triggered this topical hunt is yet to be known, but to me? One thing seems logical. We seek Truth. We need Trust. Trust in God, trust in our self, trust from others.
We need to witness honesty, offered from a loving motive. We crave for someone, or something, to show us sincerity. We want variety and choices, yet desire consistent quality. Truth is part of authenticity.
I can feel my authentic preachy side coming out, so I’ll step down from my pulpit to ask you.
How do you define authentic? Who shows you consistent truth? What makes sincerity important to you?
